I couldn’t find this one in stores, so I’m glad it’s still available on the website. This pad is the perfect size and has the perfect attitude! My scrap paper lists were getting out of hand — either too many little lists I kept misplacing or one big long one that depressingly never got completed. The Crap pad acknowledges how I feel about most of these chores, but stubbornly stays where I put it, and dares me to attack the list, or to acknowledge the crap that’s not worth doing and let it go.

  2. 5 out of 5

For years I have bought large post-it pads and subdivided each page for the day’s crap: to do, to buy, and unmentionable/uncategorizable crap. “Why doesn’t someone make this?” I’ve wondered. And then I discovered — someone did! I found the Crap Pad at my local super indie bookstore. It provides headings for the date, crap type, and degree of crappiness, with subdivided checklists (and tiny columns for actual checkmarks, a hopeful if doomed status) for To Do, To Buy, and Other Crap. Its muted dark orange and ivory design complements any cluttered desktop. In fact, it makes the perfect gift for people who get it — but don’t get it done. So I’ve ordered more. Wonderful! — Ann W., Asheville NC
