Meet Your Fellow FOKKer, Jessica! It’s Our “Friendly Fridays” Feature!

Lovely Jessica planning out her next meal. Also, Jessica, can we borrow your pen sometime?

We’re number one fans of our fans. (We’re sure you know how much you contribute to our existence.) So we want to thank you all with a column dedicated to you: “Friendly Fridays”! Once a month, we will be featuring a certain friend and their Knock Knock stuff-related stories.

Even though she’s currently getting over the flu (what a trooper, right?!), Jessica still took some time to share her Knock Knock stories with us.

Name: Jessica M.H. Smith.

Location: Lander, Wyoming.

Occupation: Non-profit professional, grad student, and full-time comedy fan.

Favorite Knock Knock Product? That’s like asking which is my favorite child. Sigh . . . Currently, my favorite is the Money Receiptables pad and folder combo. I use this daily. I’m working on doing a better job at tracking my expenses and savings, so this keeps it all in one place.

Knock Knock Story Time: I bought the What to Eat Pad menu planner some time ago. Menu planning is practical, right? It’s what grown-ups do. But the pad moved unused from drawer to drawer, like a little neglected organizational gypsy. Poor guy. The What to Eat Pad just wanted to help me out. Some time later, I started reading a food mag that inspired me. I remembered my What to Eat Pad and placed it on the fridge with that handy magnet. I’m a visual person and need to see something. Out of sight, out of . . . whatever I was talking about. So, cute and simple format (I don’t need a binder system here) + magnet + new habits = learning new cooking tricks, eating out less, eating healthier, and saving money.

Jessica’s Knock Knock stuff, spread out for the world to see. Ain’t she a beaut?

I also gave the Personal Library Kit to a doctoral grad, and she loved it—it’s cute and practical! Also, my husband knows I’m a FOKKer, so part of his anniversary scavenger hunt included me finding a Sweet Nothing Nifty Note. Nothing like a husband who knows your sense of humor and your favorite stationery brand.
