I ordered one of these journals because, honestly, I have a journal and notebook habit. I then managed to scribble through it while going through a horrifying ride on the hormone roller coaster. I don't think I'd ever filled an entire journal before this. I feel accomplished! There's a bigger version, too, but I admit I liked the mini one and ordered a few more since they're on sale right now. I have no doubt I'll be filling all of them on the road to getting my hormones balanced. The little sayings are just what I need and it's therapeutic to get everything out of my head and onto paper. Bonus that they're paper and board - because I can burn them when I'm done ranting like a loon.

I totally freaking freaked out but in a good way when I opened this gift...
And yes, I'm the "Tricia" referenced up there. :) As soon as I unwrapped this and read the cover, I was like, "OMG! This sounds just like me! I coulda written this! You mean other people do this, too??" hahaha! I love using this... and even before, I've noticed, that when I've written or talked out what I'm freaked out over, it really does seem to help. It organizes things in my mind and lets me see and separate the rational from the irrational, calm down, and arrive at what to do about things. Ms. C.K. up there is often on the other end of that, but maybe now I can spare her (at least a little) and take it out in this perfect little book instead. :) The introduction/instructions are fantastic, and I like the quotes that goe with each page, too!

Aha, this is proof my chronically freaked out friend, Tricia, has been free-lancing for Knock Knock! I swear she has actually spoken variations of the very words printed on the front cover when she freaks out, which is, conservatively, every other day. Of course, when she received it as a gift, she freaking freaked out!
