My mom cried because the questions are so sweet. This book is the best.
Lil Ol' Mommy loved it
I actually discovered Knock Knock stuff by Googling "fart gifts" for my siblings. But then I found all these other amazing gifts and listy note-type items that are just the right balance of heart-felt and hilarious without being sappy or obnoxious. I got this for my mom (and my dad for the Dad version) for an early 80th birthday celebration for both of them because my siblings and I were all going to be together with my parents, who are turning 80 in October & December respectively. My mom was wowed by the personal expressions of love and specific references to memories and "inside jokes" we have. You could not get a better Mom gift than this. Not even dark chocolate, a day at the spa or flowers or whatever the kids are giving their moms as gifts these days. I filled it out in one sitting because all the answers to fill in just came to me. What's nice too, it's not all on your shoulders to think of *everything*, but the fill-in-the-blank structure helps bring out the specific and creative as it prompts immediate personal descriptions and occasions as you see the words.
Best Mother's Day gift
What a great book for a Mother's day gift for my mom. She is going to love it and bring a smile to her face and few tears.
Much smaller than expected but hits the mark
I didn’t expect (or apparently read the size) the book to be as small as it was - 4.5”x3.32” but my wife loved both the book and size. She said she could carry it around more easily for a midday reminder of how much my daughter loved her. 4-5yo is definitely the lower threshold for filling this out, though! So I’ll save the second for the 2.5yo for when she’s older.
What I Love About Mom
It's not easy for a 15-year-old boy to find the perfect gift for his mom on Mother's Day, especially with the virus quarantine thing, so I sent this to my grandson to give to his mom. He thanked me for helping him out and he said his mom loved it! I believe it was the perfect gift to him and to his mom.
This makes a wonderful gift
I had from going through each page and really thinking about "what are my favorite things about my mom?" And she really got a kick out of this book. I went serious.. Given the pandemic & shelter-in-place, we haven't gotten to send much time together and as we get older, I realize how precious our days are. I love my mom so much and this was a special way to list our all of the things that I admire, find endearing, and am so grateful for. If you take the time to fill in they pages thoughtfully, it really is a great keepsake. My mother loved it and has read it several times since Mother's Day. I'm sure she will read it regularly.
